Katheryn Thompson
Katheryn’s practice focuses on civil litigation, including professional liability, medical negligence, general civil litigation, health care law, employment law, education law, product liability, insurance litigation, and governmental litigation. She is compassionate, insightful, and highly motivated to provide exceptional representation to all her clients.
Katheryn graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts degree, double major in English and Economics. During her time at UNC, she was a founding member of the Kappa Alpha Chapter of Alpha Phi at UNC and served as the Vice President of Risk Management. She attended the University of South Carolina School of Law where she served as the Associate Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Law and Education and participated in the Juvenile Justice Clinic.
After graduating from law school, Katheryn clerked for the Honorable Grace Gilchrist Knie, Circuit Court Judge in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She is licensed to practice law in South Carolina and North Carolina.
Katheryn is originally from Asheville, North Carolina. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and cycling.
